Hello fellow head banging bastard children of rock! I do hope you’re all doing great and preparing yourselves for the weekend ahead!  I know that I’m getting ready for the weekend and can’t wait to enjoy a few drinks with friends!

But there is something that is making me sad.  Today is the last day of Louie Talan’s Alive at the Womb Season 2.  After 6 weeks of inviting some of the best bands in the Philippines to come to Wombworks to film, we’re wrapping up the second season.  It has truly been a blessing of an experience to be a part of these shoots.

Inviting the bands’ fans to come and join us has been a genius of an idea and we’re honored for having met them and taken them in for a once in a lifetime experience.  Hanging out with the bands has been such a great experience for us as well as we’ve gotten to know them better and have learned so much about them.  And the crew, boy do these guys work hard!  All in all, these shoots have brought all of us closer to each other and friendships have been built and solidified.  So thank you, to everyone who participated in anyway, whether it be by simply helping a bit here and there to those that made it happen!

Special thanks need to be given to the bands that participated so willingly and helped us make it happen.  Turbo Goth, you guys were the first we shot and we loved being in the studio with you.  Thanks for being so cool to hang out with.  I’m looking forward to the next time we see each other.  Happy Birthday Sarah!  Kalayo, you guys shocked the hell out of us man!  Sammy you’re a genius and learning the stories of your life has been such a great eye opener for me.  The way you guys see life and music is a true inspiration to us all and we’ll never forget the lessons you taught us.  Sponge Cola, you guys are kooky and fun to be around!  Thanks for the impromptu jam session we had and for lending me your bass guitar!  Itchyworms, man you guys are the funniest guys alive!!!  Not to mention some of the most talented people we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!  It’s too bad that your videos of Alive at the Womb are currently down but we are crossing our fingers that your record label, SONY, allows us to put them back up.  It would be such a shame to not be able to share your amazing work with your awesome fans.  Greyhoundz, oh sorry, greymotherfuckinhoundz!  What can I say about you guys?  Simply awesome!  I’ve been seeing you guys for over 10 years now and you never fail to make my jaw drop!  It’s not just that you’re all so talented but you guys just have energy unlike any I’ve seen before.  Thank you for gracing us with your presence.  Finally, Urbandub, you guys leave me speechless.  I loved being back in the studio with all of you and I especially loved it that we were filming Alive at the Womb.  Everything you do is amazing, whether it’s sitting next to you to chat with or watch you play your instruments and sing your songs!  All of it is earth shaking and it’s just such a great thing to work with such professionalism.

On behalf of Atthewomb.com, we would like to also thank all the crew who worked on these shoots through the crazy hours.  Special thanks also to King Palisoc, Odin Fernandez, Pong Ignacio, Macky Galvez, and Mara Andres.  Thank you also to our Media sponsors Sarisarisounds.com and UR Faceradio.  Thank you also to the groups that made it all happen namely Pelicola.tv, Bigtop Media Productions, and to Wombworks and Patrick Tirano, Johnoy Danao and Louie Talan.  Noel Guevara as well for without Noel this would never have happened!

Alive at the Womb is powered by JB Music and presented by Jack Daniels!

See you all on Season 3!
