D&D Custom Guitars announced their 2012 roster of master musicians to endorse the line’s range of both electric and acoustic guitars.

Founding partner Daren Lim said, “We want to re-define the term ‘Filipino guitar’ and make it synonymous not only to quality but also originality. And we do that by paying close attention to detail, top to bottom.”

UPDATE:  The final cut of this video hasn’t been released yet so while waiting for it, enjoy the behind the scenes!

Have you guys seen the latest video of Sponge Cola with hottie Solenn Heussaff?

It’s for Antonov Vodka and it’s pretty cool, you guys should check it out!

First of all, Solenn is dancing around on a beach in a hot little swimsuit number that though is not exactly a bikini, she looks really good in it!

Secondly, well, Sponge Cola is there too so check them out as they play and later on prance around with Solenn!

Sorry to seem biased to Solenn, but umm, she’s hot!

Enjoy!

Happy New Year Bastards!

Welcome to 2012, a new year for all of us to bang our heads to a better beat and rhythm.  This year, we will continue our commitment to bring you the hottest news and current events of the local music scene, personalized experiences/interviews with your favorite bands, as well as produce hotter and better videos for everyone to enjoy!

Also in the works are more contests where we will be giving away tickets, stickers, t-shirts, and whatnot.  Oh, and don’t forget the events that we not only sponsor but those that we will be producing too!

The jam packed audience taking it slow while waiting for Ebe Dancel to begin.

Attending the annual Myx Mo events are always quite an experience.  Not only are we there to see the many performances of some of our favorite local bands, but we also get to experience the unity created by everyone being a part of the same event.

There are pop performances, rap groups, solo artists, as well as the many bands that range from anywhere between pop to heavy metal.  I like to think of these types of events as rare opportunities to really bring together the Filipino artists, as well as the fans for without them, none of us that work in the music industry would even have a job!

Myx Mo 2011 was no different.

As some of you already know, Remix Report is the best thing to grace the local news, since the news had nothing but bad things to report.  At Remix Report, the news may not be the best news as there are negative things that come out of it, but at least we experience learning about these things in a positive way, through music!

Now on week 3, Remix Report has given us some exciting news through exciting ways and by OPM’s top musicians!

To see who is being guested in this weeks Remix Report, check out the jump below!

As I’m sure you all know by now, the second season of Alive at the Womb has come to an end.  It was beautiful while it lasted but the end has come.  The great thing with Alive at the Womb though, is that it has not completely ended.  No sir, we are merely in between seasons now and will soon be embarking on the next season!

That being said, we would also like to invite you to stick around Atthewomb.com.  We will continue to bring you the latest news and events, as well as concert tickets, and, we will also be releasing new programs, which we have yet to introduce to you.

In the meantime, we would like to do a recap of season 2 and take this opportunity to consolidate all our episodes into a single blog.

We would also like to hear from you so feel free to leave comments and tell us whom YOU would like to see on Season 3!

Hello fellow head banging bastard children of rock! I do hope you’re all doing great and preparing yourselves for the weekend ahead!  I know that I’m getting ready for the weekend and can’t wait to enjoy a few drinks with friends!

But there is something that is making me sad.  Today is the last day of Louie Talan’s Alive at the Womb Season 2.  After 6 weeks of inviting some of the best bands in the Philippines to come to Wombworks to film, we’re wrapping up the second season.  It has truly been a blessing of an experience to be a part of these shoots.

Inviting the bands’ fans to come and join us has been a genius of an idea and we’re honored for having met them and taken them in for a once in a lifetime experience.  Hanging out with the bands has been such a great experience for us as well as we’ve gotten to know them better and have learned so much about them.  And the crew, boy do these guys work hard!  All in all, these shoots have brought all of us closer to each other and friendships have been built and solidified.  So thank you, to everyone who participated in anyway, whether it be by simply helping a bit here and there to those that made it happen!

First off, we would like to thank everyone who’s been continuously supporting atthewomb.com and our latest project: Alive At The Womb! We’ve been getting so many good reviews from music lovers and musicians alike, and we are more than grateful for all the feedback. We wouldn’t be doing this without you guys, and we’re not stopping anytime soon, so do expect more videos to be released in the coming weeks.
