It’s no secret that Filipino fans have been wanting Coldplay to come and perform in the Philippines for a long time now! Facebook alone has a number of pages that have been put up, all in the hopes of getting Coldplay to come to Manila to do a live show!
The great news, is that Coldplay might have heard the thousands or even millions of voices requesting their presence on our soil!
However, this news is not yet 100% sure nor set in stone, as this information has not yet been officially announced. This information has come from various sources both online and on the street and until it is officially announced, we cannot be sure of this just yet. Although, this would also not be the first time that concert information has leaked and gotten to the fans before any official announcements have been made, so though not formal, this information could well be true. I like to think optimistically and see that this is very possible so i’m going to go ahead and believe it, while waiting for the official announcement. Hooray! Coldplay live in Manila!!!
Coldplay recently released a new album entitled Mylo Xyloto.
With the release of this album comes an Asian Tour that begins in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The tour is set to begin early next year and will travel through Bangkok, Manila, and Tokyo.
UPDATE: Recent news has said that if this tour pushes through in Asia as well as Manila, it will no longer be within the first quarter of the year.
So stand by folks as the year comes to an end and a new year begins.
